Manchester has been rocked by abduction horror after a man tried to drag a schoolboy into his car as he walked home from school, it has been claimed. The unidentified motorist, driving a white car, made a sick attempt to bundle the 11-year-old into his vehicle in Dukinfield, Manchester. Luckily, the boy noticed he was being followed and ran back to the safety of his school, which was just yards away.
The sister of the boy told Daily Star Online that the man followed her brother as he walked home from school at around 7pm earlier this week. The driver then pulled over and attempted to “grab his arm and drag him in”, she claimed.
The boy’s horrified sister, who asked not to be named, said she felt “sick to the stomach” after hearing of the incident. She said: “It’s a horrible to think what could have happened if he wasn’t so aware he was being followed. It’s terrifying, you never really realise until it’s that close to home just how scary it is.”
She believes whoever tried to snatch her brother could be part of a grooming gang akin to the sex rings uncovered in Rochdale and Rotherham.
