Zoe Ball’s cameraman boyfriend has been found dead in ‘tragic circumstances’.
The Radio 2 DJ is said to be ‘overcome with grief’ after her 40-year-old partner Billy Yates was discovered at his flat in Putney, south London, yesterday evening.
Ball, 46, revealed she had started dating Yates, an Antiques Roadshow cameraman earlier this year.
Friends say Ball has been left grief-stricken by her boyfriend’s death, ‘which came completely out of the blue’.
The pair’s romance came after she split from her husband of 18 years Norman Cook last September.
She met the 40-year-old Antiques Roadshow cameraman through mutual friends at the BBC.
The pair had been spotted out together on numerous occasions, with a source previously saying Zoe was ‘in a great place and very happy with Billy’.
A plane believed to be carrying a number of passengers has crashed at a US airport.
The plane rolled of the runway at Yeager Airport in Charleston, West Virginia.
Authorities have now placed the surrounding area in a state of emergency.
Locals report that roads around the area have been closed to traffic.

A man was fatally stabbed on a bus in central London, sparking a murder investigation.
The 48-year-old victim was killed on the Route 189 bus in Gloucester Place, near the junction with Dorset Square, in Marylebone in the early hours of Friday morning.
It’s believed the victim boarded the bus at Brent Cross bus station at 11.13pm on Thursday.
Just less than an hour later, at around 10 minutes past midnight, Met Police officers were called to reports of a man wounded on the bus. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The force said they believe the stabbing took place on the bus, and are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh said: ‘I believe the victim boarded the bus at Brent Cross bus station at 11.13pm on Thursday April 27.
‘I want to hear from anyone who was at Brent Cross bus station, or who travelled on the 189 bus from Brent Cross towards the Marylebone area at around that time.
‘It is crucial that we speak with any potential witnesses. Even if you do not believe you saw anything significant, if you were at the bus station at around 11pm or on the bus then please call the incident room.’

A vehicle “mowed” into several members of a band who were set to march in a Mardi Gras parade in Alabama on Tuesday, injuring nearly a dozen people.
A city spokesperson said 11 people were injured, including three people who were in critical condition.
The vehicle was “a part of the parade,” according to an official, and witnesses told FOX10 that it was a white van with MOAA on its side that was driven by an elderly man. MOAA are the initials of the Military Officers Association of America.
The Department of Homeland Security was monitoring the situation.
Those hit were from the Gulf Shores High School Band, a parent at the scene said. A separate witness told FOX 10 the vehicle struck the students and “mowed them over.”
“A teenage band has just started to march down the parade route when they were struck from behind,” said Grant Brown, a spokesperson for the city of Gulf Shores. “The vehicle was a part of the parade.”
A murder investigation is under way after a man was stabbed to death in Wealdstone High Street on Monday evening (February 27).
Metropolitan Police officers were called to High Street near the junction with Gordon Road at around 6.50pm.
There they found a man, believed to be 34-years-old, suffering stab wounds.
He was rushed to a central London hospital in a critical condition but was sadly pronounced dead at around 2.30am on Tuesday morning (February 28).
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Lawson, leading the investigation, said: “We believe the area at that time of the stabbing, just before 6.50pm in the evening, would have been very busy with people coming from nearby Harrow and Wealdstone station.
“We are very keen to hear from anyone who was in and around the Wealdstone High Street area that may have seen or heard anything suspicious, especially from anyone who saw people running towards the station.”
