BREAKING: Bomb Disguised In Mobile Phone Discovered At Major Indian Airport

A bomb has been discovered hidden in a mobile phone case at a major airport. An explosive device was discovered hidden in a mobile phone’s plastic case at the airport’s security check-point. The terror alert took place at Mangalore Airport in India earlier today.

Photos shared on social media show an explosive device squeezed into a mobile phone case. The photo shows red and yellow electrical wires attached to a small silver object similar to a battery pack. A brown putty-like material is shown in the picture keeping the items in place.

A man has been arrested as he prepared to fly from Mangalore to Dubai. The UK foreign office warns terrorists are “very likely to try to carry out attacks in India”. They said: “There have been recent media reports suggesting Daesh [Islamic State] interest in attacking targets in India. There may be an increased threat to places visited by British nationals such as religious sites, markets, festival venues and beaches.”
