The family of Aimee Jayne Phillips have launched a desperate appeal to trace the teenager after she mysteriously went missing yesterday afternoon. Her mother Shelly said the young girl went to the shops to buy something for her grandmother around 2:40pm yesterday, Friday August 19, in the Southmead area but never returned. She is now seriously worried about her daughter’s welfare and said this is totally out-of-character.
She said: “She has never been gone for more than a few hours before. I’m so worried. I have contacted everyone I can think of. I’ve called the police and they said they’d send someone round but no one has come yet.”
The missing 13-year-old girl had no mobile phone with her and her friends do not know where she is. Aimee was last seen wearing a pink cardigan and pink leggings with black boots. Anyone with information should call police on 101.
