Four children ‘aged between three and 11’ have been rushed to hospital following a serious assault at a house, police say.]A man in his mid-thirties has been arrested after the kids were discovered with serious injuries inside the property in Blainroe, Ireland. Two of the children were airlifted to Tallaght Hospital in Dublin after Gardaí and Emergency Services arrived at the scene, the Irish Mirror reports.
The remaining pair were taken to the facility by ambulance. It is understood their injuries suggested they had been choked.
Police are now investigating the incident, which took place in County Wicklow at around 7.30pm yesterday. Reports say the victims were two boys and two girls aged between three and 11.
The man arrested in connection with the investigation, who is yet to be named, is currently being held at Wicklow garda station.
