A husband and wife have been found dead at their home in a quiet cul-de-sac.Police probing the deaths of Karen Arnold, 46, and her 55-year-old husband Stephen, say they are not looking for anyone else. Their bodies were found by officers today at their house on a new-build estate in New Waltham near Grimsby, Lincs. Police forensics officers were seen searching the property and cars parked on the drive.
Neighbours spoke of her shock and sadness at the news. Lucy Constable, who lives on the same road, said they were “nice, quiet people” who she often said hello to as she walked her dogs. Chris Rydall said the “perfect couple” had lived there for around 16 years. He said: “They were dog walkers and a lovely couple. I never thought anything like this would happen.
A Humberside Police said officers were called to the house at 4am today. The force said: “Officers and paramedics attended and two people – a 55-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman – were located within the house. Both were deceased.
“An investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances of their deaths and at this stage it is too early to speculate. However, police are not looking for anyone else in connection with their deaths. Relatives of the deceased have been identified and are being offered support by police.”
