One person has been killed and up to 20 injured after a school bus crashed at an airport.The female driver of the bus died when the vehicle collided with a pillar at Denver International Airport on Sunday. The bus was one of three that had picked up a high school football team at the airport, police said.
Police Sergeant Mike Farr said the driver crashed into a pillar in the car park, but the reason for the crash is not known.
He said between 17 and 20 people on the bus were taken to the hospital for examination, with what he called “different levels of injury.”
Local media reported that the bus was carrying players and coaches from Broomfield Legacy High School, who were returning from a game in California.
