Screams Of “Help Me” As Three Die At Block Of Flats

Cries for help were heard before the deaths of a woman and two men at a tower block in Aberdeen.1flatPolice are not looking for anyone in connection to what has been described as a “contained incident” that happened on the 12th floor of Donside Court, in the Tillydrone area of the city, at around 8.15pm on Tuesday night.

One resident said she saw a man falling, as she looked out the window of her home on the fifth floor. The 20-year-old, who asked not to be named, said: “I was playing on my computer and I heard something happening and at that moment I looked out the window.” She said she did not know the man well but he “always smiled when you said hello to him”.

Toni Dey, 19, who lives in nearby Gordon’s Mills Road, described how she heard shouting and a woman crying for help at the Donside Court. The mother-of-two said: “I heard some girl screaming ‘Help me, help me’, then about 10 minutes after I heard loads of screaming and shouting.”

A blue forensics tent has been erected outside the 19-storey block as officers work to establish the circumstances of the deaths.
