THREE Toddlers Drown In 30 Seconds As Two Jump In To Rescue One Who Fell In Lake

Three young children have drowned in the space of just 30 seconds after one fell in and the two others attempted a desperate rescue bid. The three-year-old twin sisters and their four-year-old brother were playing next to a pond when one of the trio fell in.

The toddler, who couldn’t swim, was clearly in trouble so their siblings decided to go in after them. But within seconds all three were in serious difficulty and unable to stay above the water. Security footage shows the children playing at the water’s edge in the village of Shangtang in China’s southern Guangdong province and captures the accident followed by the moment minutes later as family members arrive at the tragic scene and try in vain to save the tots., but none of the children survived.

Local officials now looking into the tragedy have deemed it an accident, but the children’s guardians could still face charges of negligence and punishment following the investigation. The siblings’ names have yet to be released, and the police did not say whether any arrests were made.
