A girl of three was badly hurt when she was hit by a car in Birmingham.The tot suffered serious head injuries when she was struck by the vehicle close to the junction of Brockworth Road and Bells Lane in Druids Heath at about 7.15pm on Sunday.
An ambulance, responder paramedic and trauma doctor attended. The girl received emergency care at the scene of the crash and was accompanied to hospital by the trauma specialist.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “A three-year-old girl had sustained a serious head injury which required immediate trauma care on scene.
“The girl was then taken by land ambulance on blue lights to Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The trauma doctor travelled in the ambulance to continue treatment en route. No-one else was injured.”
