A groom-to-be died on his own stag do after collapsing suddenly at his hotel in Magaluf.groomShaun Ennis, 31, flew to the Spanish party resort to celebrate his upcoming marriage to the love of his life, Kiri Robinson. But seven hours into the holiday, the dad-of-three suddenly passed away.

After arriving at midnight on June 9, Shaun and his stag party went straight to some bars but within hours he was banging on his future brother-in-laws hotel door saying he did not feel well. Moments later he started convulsing, reported the Manchester Evening News.

Friends and relatives battled to resuscitate Shaun with dad Brian giving him the kiss of life, but despite their desperate efforts Shaun could not be saved and passed away at the scene. An investigation into the cause of his death on June 10 is now underway.

Dad Brian, 57, told the M.E.N how Shaun, from Stretford, Manchester, was due to marry the love of his life next month and had been excited to go on his stag do. He said: “It was in the early hours, around 6am, Shaun knocked on his future brother-in-law’s room and said he didn’t feel well. He went onto the balcony and started convulsing. Mikey called me in and I tried to save him, tried to give him the kiss of life, the paramedics tried too but it was too late.”
