Just in case you’ve been hiding under a rock ,Pokemon Go is a scavenger-type game where you hunt for Pokémon in the real world thanks to real-world mapping technology. And Evan Scribner’s girlfriend was able to work out that he’d been at his ex’s house.
After he went to visit his old flame’s place in Bushwick, Evan decided to open up the Pokemon app and launched a Pokéball to catch a nearby bat-type Pokémon. When his girlfriend opened up the app back home in Sunniside, Brooklyn, she knew exactly where he’d been thanks to Pokemon Go’s impressive geolocation services.
‘She saw that I had caught a Pokémon while at my ex’s house. She found out last night and hasn’t contacted me since then,’ he told the NY Post.
