Wrestling fans across the world are in mourning after the death of Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. Widely regarded as the best wrestling manager ever, “The Brain” worked throughout the 80’s, often feuding with Hulk Hogan.

Announcing Heenan’s death, ex-WWE commentator Jim Ross paid tribute to his friend. He wrote: “The news of Bobby “The Brain” Heenan’s passing today gutted me. I loved our time together. No one ever did it better than the Weasel.”

Bobby, 72, had been suffering from lung cancer and was forced to pull out of recent appearances due to ill health. WWE has sent its condolences to his friends and family.
