A young mum died after her car burst into flames despite brave motorists desperately trying to pull her from the blaze.
Hannah Wood, 30, from Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, lost control of her Mini Cooper and smashed into a tree on the B4014 near Avening.
As her car became engulfed by fire, several people tried to rescue her from the wreckage but were beaten back by the flames.
Devastated pals have set up a JustGiving page since the accident on Monday to raise funds to support Hannah’s four-year-old son Jamie and partner Jon.
One fund was started by Hannah’s friend Jemma Pawlyszyn, who plans to run a half marathon to raise money for Jamie to do something in memory of his mum.
She wrote: “My beautiful friend Hannah lost her life in a tragic car accident on Monday February 13 2017.
“Hannah was such a lovely kind woman and I cannot believe someone so caring and warm has been taken so suddenly, leaving behind her son Jamie who’s just four years old.
“I know there is nothing I can do to bring Hannah back and it’s heartbreaking but I’d like to raise some money for Jamie.
